SEND Teacher (EYFS/KS1)

Due to the continued success of our school, Cedars is expanding its provision and we are delighted to be recruiting an additional teacher to join our team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative and nurturing school community delivering bespoke, meaningful education to children who learn differently.
​​
The post is to lead in an EYFS/KS1 class of students with complex cognitive and emotional needs. This role is ideally suited to an experienced SEND or EYFS/Primary Practitioner, with the confidence to plan and deliver an engaging curriculum in a responsive, practical, and sensory-led way.

SEND Teaching Assistant (EYFS)
Cedars Low Fell, part of Cedars Academy Trust, is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our EYFS/KS1/KS2 setting. We have vacancies to start as soon as possible, as well as from October 2025.

Job Summary
We need dedicated individuals to support the learning and development of our young children. The role involves working closely with the class team to deliver an innovative and inclusive curriculum through practical, sensory, and therapeutic approaches.

SEND Teaching Assistant (KS3-5)
Cedars High Heworth, part of Cedars Academy Trust, is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our Key Stages 3-5 setting.

We need enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistants to support young people with complex needs in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 at our site in High Heworth, Gateshead (former Colegate School). The role involves supporting a student-led curriculum focused on Preparation for Adulthood and community access, ensuring students are “fit for life” and ready for future challenges.
