Governance Overview

Governance structure

Our trust has two levels of governance. Our members serve as the guardians and stewards of our trust, ensuring that our values are respected and maintained. They hold our trustees to account for the governance of our trust.

 

Our trustees set the strategic direction of our trust and are responsible for compliance with all financial regulations. They ensure the senior leadership team are held to account and are accountable to our members and the Department for Education.

Our board of trustees meet six times a year as a full board. Our board has two sub-committees: Finance, Audit & Risk and Curriculum & Standards
